That powerd thing sounds great can anyone teach me how
to configure it on our system. We are using APC
Back-UPS 500 on our system, running redhat 6.2 and
7.0.

I don't know if all Asus motherboards has a feature
that boots itself upon restoration of power, but the
P3B-F has a feature in its' bios that you can
configure to boot your machine when power returns.
