1. usually, the secondary dns runs on a separate machine on a different network,
this is meant for redundancy.

2. anyway, what do you see when you issue the "ifconfig" command?

3. usually your NAS can assign the ip's of your dns servers via the ms-dns
parameter.  with this setup, your clients need not configure their pc's dns
setup.  check your NAS manuals for details.
