there are no problems with the squid.conf and my computer before
could access it... no problem found in the cache.log -- its binding
to the correct port... i can ping outside. it has a large amount of
diskspace.
however, when I try to telnet to port 80 it says unable to connect.
and there are no further entries in the access.log.
these problems were yesterday... anyway, as of right now, it is
working... I'll have to monitor it closely.
