We also tried installing RH6.2 on DEC Alpha machine too a few months ago.
But when it reaches some stage of the installation process, the machine just hangs. We haven't have the time to download another copy of RH6.2 for Alpha machines.
Just inform us is it works with your machine.

I've managed to find an old DEC Alpha400. I'm planning to
install RH 6.2
for Alpha on it. I've browsed through Compaq's website and linux is not
listed on its supported OS. Anybody tried running linux on an Alpha400?
Anyways, i'm currently d/ling the iso image for it... {=)
