hello. i'd just would like to ask if anybody in the list was able to compile a
kernel in redhat 7? the crappy version of gcc that they provide gives up on
kernel compiles...even on the kernel source provided by the distro. william once
mentioned that theoretically, one could just use rh7 and downgrade the compiler.
problem was, the RPM versions bet 7 and 6.2 are big in difference, so much that
RPM4 doesnt like installing the previous RPMS of rh6.2.
anybody able to make a work-around? thanks.
