[plug] re-compile kernel problem

Hello.

I recently re-compile my RH6.2 kernel from 2.2.16-3 to 2.2.17.  But
after recompiling and logging into the kernel 2.2.17, I encountered a
problem,  the network card can not initialize because the module
/lib/modules/2.2.16-3 didn't change to 2.2.17. Please advise.
