Hi all,
I will be holding a free introductory talk about Zope, Python & Squishdot
on Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the IBM Asia Pacific
College bldg. in Magallanes.
This talk is addressed primarily to the following:
* Website designers, developers and administrators
* Programmers and software developers thinking of developing web-based applications
* IT managers, CIOs, CTOs planning or implementing their corporate
internet/web/intranet/extranet/ecommerce strategies
This talk was made possible by the kind assistance of Raul Ocampo from Suse Linux
(Philippines)
who offered (for free) their facilities for the event.
DUE TO THE LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE (20-30 PARTICIPANTS), PLEASE EMAIL ME ASAP
AT [EMAIL PROTECTED] IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN COMING TO THE TALK SO I CAN GAUGE
THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS.
By way of introduction, I am the original developer of Squishdot, a popular web-based
news & discussion application running on top of Zope. My purpose in holding the talk
(aside from encouraging people to try out Zope, Python & Squishdot) is to learn more
about the philippine web development/business environment and also develop contacts
with the local web development community.
If you haven't heard of Zope, Python & Squishdot and would like to learn more before
going (or can't go) to the talk, here are the relevant URLs:
