Hi. I have a problem setting my integrated sound.
I have a Winsonic WSV6A07 Motherboard and it has
an onboard AC97 Sound. My chipset is VIA KT133.
I would like to setup my sounds for my Redhat 7.
I tried doing a 'setup' then tried to setup my
sound from there. It probed my sound (VIA) but
when it did a test, my computer froze. I checked
/etc/modules.conf and it added something like:
alias sound-slot-0 via82cxxx
options support sb=1(i think)
After rebooting because of the freeze, in the
initialization screen, my computer stopped at the
VIA part. Anyone know how to solve the problem pls?
