We are pleased to announce the availability of AdmuLinux 1.8, the lean and mean distribution for the hacker (you must manually install, no gui-friendly install scripts). Admulinux 1.8 has linux-2.4.2-pre4, modutils-2.4.2, glibc-2.2.2, gcc-2.95.3-pre3, and many other nice stuff. Thus you get proper SMP, 1GB ram + 3GB virtual memory (64GB requires recompile), 64bit file pointers for terabytes of disk space, 32-bit UIDs, devfs on /dev, posix-style shared memory on /dev/shm, Unix98 ptys on /dev/pts, etc. You can get it from http://www.admulinux.org/ PMana PS.
