[plug] Which distribution to choose??

I am somewhat confused with all the available distributions of Linux. I need to know what u think is good.

For desktop/workstation:

For Corporate Server:

For Gaming:

i am learning linux right now, and i am very much a newbie in the world of linux. I just need some basic info to kickstart my learning process. TY

BTW I am using Mandrake 7.2 right now.
