Just an info only: I just installed a CPU fan w/ heatsink on a ZIF socket 7 and it fits well! The fan is intended for SlotA (AMD cpu's). I ordered it (without seeing it--bad idea) thinking I'll rip the fan apart from its heatsink but, VIOLA! the whole assembly fits... It's a bearing type and looks cooler for a socket 7 CPU because of the fan's size..
