If you need a Perl module to do encrypt stuff using the new Advanced
Encryption Standard, Rijndael, have a look at my Crypt::Rijndael. The
thing turns up on CPAN. Am working on more modules for other
cryptographic primitives such as the Tiger hash function and the new SHA
256/384/512 from NIST. These are the fruits of the cryptographic
experimentation I did for my last job...
Also got a software 3D rendering/animation program I showed to those of
you who went to the eb. The only reason why it's not on Freshmeat is that
I have nowhere to host it. The pathetic one-meg Pacific gives me is just
barely enough to hold the tarball. I'd rather keep my personal pages
there, and host my project files somewhere else (maybe on SourceForge...
when I have the time to negotiate that).
Anyone else here on PLUG doing any Free Software development, no matter
how small? I remember Orly had a number of projects too. We ought to put
that up on the PLUG website, as our own contributions to the Free Software
cause!
