I've also found out that you can get the mandrake kernel, roll it into a
tarball with the modules and initrd's, and transplant it to an RH box, and
it will run, no sweat!

BTW, mandrake kernels come with reiserfs built in \8)
plus goodies like supermount (which will allow auto mounting of cd/floppy
media)
