These maybe a newbie question..

Rather than reinvent the wheel, would anybody be willing to share copies of
their header check files for Postfix?
I'm just starting to make use of it and I'm not familiar with the "things" I
should be checking for and the proper syntax for the matter.

Does the check happen only for new mail received or can it also check
smtp/outgoing msgs? In other words, my user may have an infected system and
it was sending out bulk msgs with the virus. Will it be filtered and sent
back to him?

If a msg is REJECTed, and the sender is non-existent, what happens to the
msg? Will it play ping pong? Would it be possible to pipe the msg to
/dev/null? I'm thinking this is those spam or virus which fakes their
return address.

Can you also point to me what docs can I find out about those "mysterious"
numbers 5xx 4xx etc?

Thanks.

Take care and God bless.

William
