The site is great esp for its intention to put up something that holds
together the PLUG organization.
Just my opinions though:
- The 1st pharagraph should go to the Ábout section, its not that important
to thank a surfer for browsing thru the site but be more considerable on
the content bec thats what keeps them coming back.
- News section: Dont put news that's already old news - just lost its
essence
Digest archive is not news, try in
Resources section
even more the mail etiquette - How about
integrating it with the Mailing List Guidelines?
Put dates on each news.
- Add new section for EVENTS, this is where the linuxfest and stuff should
be placed
- Add dates on Kernel Updates
- And i think the Vision is too far-out and far-fetch.
Vision: To be an enabler of human progress in the global society,
starting with the Philippines, by
vigilantly advocating the use of Linux and Open Source
Software
--> human progress is too dramatic and exaggerate, Open Source
progress maybe?
Mission: Cooperate with and coordinate among various sectors (research,
education,
corporate, government, non-profit, etc.) in assisting the
community (Users and non-Users alike).
--> assisting the community with what? and how? peace and order?
Macdonald's --> something wrong in here =)
Please dont get aggravated with what I've just wrote, my opinions could be different
from others. This are purely my thoughts.
