=)
i found admulinux (full install, not the run from cd) out-of-the-box (errr...wut
box?), to be quite lean. cutting edge technology (latest kernel as of
iso-creation time, glibc, etc) included. hehehe.

productive is a hard thing kasi to quantify..and it depends a lot on the
situation. if you need to set up Internet services, then u need a distro that
easily provides such..and can easily set them up from first reboot. if you need
a desktop linux, you'll want to use a distro that easily sets up stuff for you,
like mandrake.

funny how, after trying so many linux/unix distros (my cd pack is full of 'em
and i'm a fan of [EMAIL PROTECTED]), i still find myself going back to RH in
the end. and my first distro is slackware, something which does things quite
different from RH. it suits me eh...as i'm sure a lot of other distros suits a
lot of other people more.

regards,

vince.
