Hi,
I'm trying the Reiserfs feature in kernel 2.4.2
version. Everything seems to be ok, from compiling to
mkreiserfs'ing the partition. The problem is when I
tried to mount the reiserfs-enabled partition. I get
the following message:
mount: /dev/hda6 has wrong major or minor number
According to the FAQ, "reiserfs is not compiled and
not available as a module". Which is medyo malabo
since I was able to insmod the reiserfs module and
boot 2.4.2 kernel.
' used the ff.
- linux-2.4.2.tar.bz2
- linux2.4.2-reiserfs-20010301-full.patch.gz
- reiserfsprogs-3.x.0f.tar.gz
