MVP,

I haven't used your Windows package, but try something like this to see if
you can at least get started...

1 - Tell the winbox that it should accept RHbox as a
host. In linux you can do this with something like "xhost RHbox"
This will be different on your windows box. It may be a text box or
something. In this and all the following, you can also use IP addresses
instead of names. It may be a good idea to do so at first, to avoid
confusion and the need to put names in lhosts files, etc...

2 - Telnet to your RH box from the Winbox (you can do this from
the Run box "telnet RHbox") and issue the command
(assuming your running BASH) "export DISPLAY=winbox:0"
The zero is a display number for that box. I suspect your win pkg will
default to the first display, 0.

3 - Continuing in that telnet session, "xterm" (or the name of
your chosen program) should bring up an X terminal on your winbox. From
there, issue commands, etc....

This is a cheap and dirty way to get things started. It is not secure.
But it will allow you to possibly test basic funtionality.

There are a couple of good Remote X mini howtos on the net which might
help. You also might search google for references to your program.
Surely you aren't the first to have this need, someone else may have asked
and gotten an answer on the net that will help you.

I wish you success. You may also want to look at the VNC program. It's
more of a remote control program like PC-Anywhere. You can use it to run
your Windows box from Linux or vice-versa. It's small and a free download
- very easy to install. It's not a replacement for remote X, rather a
nice supplement when you want to work the other way around.
