Advances in computer networks continue to influence our
lifestyle. As business leaders and academic researchers, it is
imperative that we keep up with these new technologies in order to
innovate and provide quality service to our clients.
The Computer Technology Department of the College of Computer
Studies at De La Salle University - Professional Schools Inc., aims
to educate technology and business oriented people regarding advances
in computer networking. We are holding a Computer Technology
Symposium entitled Networking Technologies Towards Convergence.
The symposium will include topics on Network Management,
Bandwidth Management, Structured Cabling Standards, Storage Area
Networks, Wireless Architectures, Wireless Network for Mobile
Computing, Wireless Network Security, VoIP Carriers, VoIP
Enterprises, Broadband Networks, xDSL, IPv6 and IPSec/VPN among
others.
