I just happened to be watching CNN when I saw this device called "Cybiko"
-- it's apparently the DoCoMo of the US. Designed in Moscow. Costs $100.

The technical specs are: H8 processor, 512K RAM, 2-bit 160x100 grayscale
screen, wireless 150' range, internet, email, full keyboard, and a CF
slot. It can play MP3's which I don't understand -- how do you decode
MP3's on an 11MHz Hitachi processor?

Anyway the SDK is available for Linux (goto www.cybiko.com) as an RPM
(1.1MB only). This thing looks quite cool. It may be considered a kids'
toy in the US but I can think of lots of cool apps for it. The CF slot is
a good one because CF is cheap and you can get large capacities.
