First, check the complete binaries of kernel-2.2.19
for Mandrake 7.2 and be sure the utilites for binding
are also updated. Second, you mentioned that your
system is dual processor, try to download the SMP
(Symetrical Multi Processor) kernel-2.2.19 for
i386/586/686 CPU.
