You can ask for the part number. That sounds rather cheap, and if its a
Kingston, then I'm sure it's backed by a lifetime warranty. Of course, not
all resellers here honor that, though.
I do recall Kingston memory modules having toshiba chips. Ask for the part
number or serial number from the seller and check it against Kingston's
website: http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/kepler/partnum_Bod.asp
