Hello, Is this normal in UNix/Linux? If you have the ff setup: PCNIS aka NIS Server export /home/nisusers directory to nis client PC1 tux has his home dir at /home/nisuser/tux ypserv running PC1 aka NIS Client mounts PCNIS:/home/nisusers to /home/nisusers ypbind running when logging in as root at PC1 then "su - tux", an "ls" command could see tux files and dirs supposed to be dapat walang makikita di ba? or better yet denied pa ng access sa dir ~tux. Kung normal ito, how could i restrict the local root (PC1 root) from being able to see the files of the user? me kinalaman ba yung /etc/shadow ? If so how do i disable shadow?
