Hmmm, a fax dialup farm? Cool. I'm just not sure if the Equinox board
supports Class 2/2.0 Fax, anyway, you can check.
For fax servers i recommend hylafax, RPMs come stock for Mandrake 7.2.
(don't use RH 6.1, it's VERY INSECURE off the box, unless you want to
update around 80% of the important packages... and the kernel)
The Equinox board has semi open source drivers, and it comes in RPM form,
so no problem there.
Hylfax has got a cool windows client and it can manage several
incoming/outgoing faxmodems. You can even forward the incoming faxes by
email and view the attached faxes via Acrobat!
Also, if you install the SST modem, there will be a new set of ttys that
need to be created, and you can access them transparently like any other
modem.
