Windstone Linux is embedded linux for the Palm Pilot that is
supposed to be able to run on xcopilot-0.6.6. My xcopilot is
quite flaky and sometimes runs and sometimes does not, so I really
could not run Windstone in it.
By good fortune, I was able to successfully build pose-3.1
(fltk-2.0.11, emulator-3.1, emulator-skins-1.6), and so I have a
perfectly running Palm emulator on Linux that runs all the programs from
pda.tucows.com and from palmopensource. I am very satisfied with
pose-3.1, except for one little problem: it refuses to run Windstone
Linux, saying the windstone-19991199.rom is not a valid Palm rom.
What am I doing wrong here folks?
