but pickings are slim. they (NBS/PB) carry only the "popular" titles most
of the time. will they order the special titles for you and sell at the
same competitive pricing they currently do?
despite the high price of computer books here, if you compare them with
prices abroad, even at the current PhP/$ rates, books are cheaper here! :)
the only times i've resorted to asking friends abroad to purchase books
for me was when the title in question was not available locally.
(aside: hmmm... is the coriolis linux kernel core commentary still
available... i haven't had the chance to go to megamall yet)
