For leisure, I'd like to set aside two months, leave all my tech
trappings at Dumaguete, then go up the mountains for a month of hunting
deer.
For less than half the $$$ of a 4WD, it will be just you, a knife, a
maglite, a thermal blanket, a rifle (optional), a couple of kilos of
rain gear, food and a compass. Why a compass? This is for leisure right?
hehehe.
Even if you had a 4WD, you'll leave it halfway up the mountain anyway.
