Hello all,

I'm in a funny situation: I need to chown() about 2M files. Now the
problem is, the files are on a ReiserFS partition.. so the metadata
journaling bites me in the *ss: since chown() is a metadata update, it
occurs synchronously.. and you can imagine how SLOW that is.. now if only
journaling could be turned OFF selectively, so that disk writes are more
optimized..
