Some people will not really mind this thread. But there are those in the gaming and multimedia fields that believe wine should be continued. Many windows utilities may never be ported by their owners. A case in point: unlike Flash, Apple's Quicktime still does not run under Linux as a plugin. Codeweavers, (www.codeweavers.com), is actively working on CrossOver, an app that will finally allow this. Codeweavers has created a new Wine Application database, replacing the old and clunky one at www.winehq.com Take a peek at the two top apps at the bottom of the page.
