that is normal marvin. that is what standard unix filesystem architecture.
there are four basic parts of a unix filesystem. these are:
1. boot block
2. super block
3. inode list
4. data block
what you have seen in df command is the data block and the rest are eaten up
by boot block, super block and inode list..
