What emailboxes are you talking about? If you're talking about mailboxes
on your own system, there are no natural limits. I myself am subscribed
to almost a dozen mailing lists (PLUG is only one, and it's not even the
most active) and in one day sometimes get a total of more than three
hundred (most of which I actually do read :). My mailbox once grew to a
size of 33 megabytes and nearly filled my /var partition in the process.
There was a time when I got snowblinded by this blizzard of email, but now
I figured out how to use procmail and the problem is less.
If you're talking about your ISP's mailboxes, talk to them and see if you
can try to get a larger mail quota.
