scp is used like rcp and a little like cp. it is installed when you
install your ssh server. therefore, if an ssh server is running there
should be no need to install other necessary daemons. recommended ssh
server are those by the openbsd group called openssh. this comes standard
with the more recent distros.
usage: (you should do a man scp but i will just write it anyway)
this is from remote host to local host
scp username@hostname:/full/path/or/relative/path/of/file .
or from local to remote
scp /full/path/or/relative/path/of/file username@remotehost:/path/.
