The kernel (2.4.3-12) from the RedHat update FTP site contained support for
ReiserFS but I wanted to patch it to 2.4.6. However, patching 2.4.4 to the
source tree yielded errors so I'd rather deal with a clean source code that
to figure out what went wrong.
BTW, where can I buy SuSe 7.2 locally? (boxed package with CDs and manuals)

Also,
nope. reiserfs has been folded into the linus kernel since 2.4.1

i'm not sure if redhat 'patched out' reiserfs from their kernel. they've
been quite unsupportive of reiserfs development from the start, maybe
because it was mainly a SuSE development effort?
