nope. the counterpart of mandrake's cooker is redhat's rawhide.
there is no counterpart of mandrakefreq i believe. It's basically 8.0 (or
the latest distro of mdk) updated with some of the later versions of
packages to make it more stable or support more hardware, for instance
XFree 4.1, mozilla, etc..
