I did a quick search on Freshmeat for lftp and went to the project's homepage
and you know what, this looks like EXACTLY what I need. It also has directory
mirroring capabilities with parallel downloads to squeeze every bit out of my
bandwidth. Hahaha.

BTW, ncftp3 did that messing up of the files again. I don't know if it has
anything to do with the ncftpbatch process getting killed by me. The ISO that
was being downloaded when I went through a series of these kills got invalid
md5sums. Grrr... I'm shifting to lftp, and when I'm familiar with it, I will
run a 'dpkg --purge ncftp wget'. Hehehe. lftp, after all, can handle ftp, http,
ftp via http proxy, http proxied, and much more. :)

Excited... I hope the app doesn't let me down. ;>

Thanks a lot Juan Miguel! :)
