I use jmacs (part of the joe package) as my mutt editor. To hilite text that
i want to cut out (when replying) I do Ctrl-spacebar, ctrl-w to cut, ctrl-y
to paste. To justify (or arrange) a paparagraph I do an Esc q (escape then
"q")
To use the editor of your choice, put this in your /etc/Muttrc:
set editor="/usr/bin/jmacs"
If you still want to use pico, set the editor to pico - how cool is that?
Or set it to jpico (still part of the joe package together with jmacs, joe
rjoe, jstar <-- guess what emulation this is ;-> man joe for more info)
Remember mutt and joe are your friends.
#_ 2. Aside from the alias lists, can mutt get its aliases from somewhere

I have been dreaming of using MySQL for the alias list. There is a third
party address book for mutt in freshmeat, I think it's called abook. If I am
not mistaken it's written in python.
Mutt is very customizable and powerfull, if you really got into it you can
make mutt dance in the moonlight! ;->
BTW my mutt is in color.
