The system at SMA is expected to be among the largest in Asia and students in both Singapore and the United States will be allowed computing time on this cluster to bolster their knowledge of Linux-based systems." "The 70-server system at SMA, a global partnership in graduate education between the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University will be put to work on various graduate research projects. Students from all three universities will be given access to its computing power to solve various computationally intensive problems that require sophisticated computer modeling.
