Yes, buy yourself more bandwidth :)
In all probability, this will be far, far more expensive than hosting your
website.

Your pro's:
a. You get more, much much more bandwidth than you would otherwise be able
to pay for available for people who wish to see your site.
b. The actual business of running the server is outsourced to a third
party, so you need not worry about the technical details too much.
Your con's:
a. Very few hosting services will provide you with CGI access (we will
though :) unless your server is colocated, so your website may be limited
to static content only.
b. It's much more cumbersome to be periodically uploading pages to the
hosting server from somewhere else than it is to just connect to a server
on your local network and edit your pages and/or upload them there.
A few more may apply...these are all I can think of at the moment.
