Glad you asked that. RBAC of Solaris is nothing
more than a glorified/enhanced sudo. :)

A search in google gave me a german webpage link
where it misleadingly list RSBAC as RBAC for
linux. Which is wrong. RSBAC is comparable to
LIDS, RBAC(solaris) is comparable to sudo.

He must have confused rules with roles.

Since you mentioned LIDS for Linux, I curiously
looked at what it is. Wow, LIDS+Linux is
approaching the capabilities of the more expensive
Trusted Solaris. Even Openbsd does not have this
level of security!

This is good for Linux and for the rest of us.
