Oh, and I suppose I don't need to tell you that as long as you'll
settle for a free (beer or speech) player, that player will most
likely never be able to play .mov files.  Apple is keeping the
Sorenson codec there under tight wraps, and if ever a free, or even
unofficial .mov player surfaces we'll have another DMCA snafu like
what's happening to Dmitri Skylarov over Adobe and Ebooks.
