Segfaults when trying to serve up a static page with Apache most commonly
pops up in combination with mod_perl. I would suggest to rebuid Apache
from source and see if the problem goes away. This is one case where it's
not hardware-related. I've seen this a lot but I don't know how to fix it
(except blind rebuilding).
