http://cr.yp.to/qmail.html
www.lifewithqmail.org

i should point you to use vpopmail + qmail + sqwebmail
or even squirrelmail ( very lightweight fast not as
bloated as other known webmails around
www.squirrelmail.org ) very easy to install too

http://howto.globelinks.com/qmail-howto-freebsd.html
read this HOWTO it is a walkthrough really (
qmail+vpopmail etc. )
just follow the howto and you will be walking with an
easy to administer and a good mta
and dont be fooled with the freebsd thing it's the
same with linux
