I join Ian with this rant of his. I've used QMail before, and because you
need to install so many other things aside from QMail, it turns out to be
an unglamorous setup to maintain (in my view, at least). Besides, aside
from DJB's apps, I don't know what use his tools. Unlike Wietse Venema's
tcpwrappers, which seems to be the de facto and will thus need to be
installed due to some other package's dependency.

I wish his great applications could be less exotic. And I think all this
needs is a change in attitude. But ... I'm in no place to dictate how he
brings himself so since I don't like this setup, I use an alternative:
Postfix. ;>

Wietse Venema seems to be a ......... well, this is exactly how I feel
about the XFS developers versus the ReiserFS guys. Just a feeling, of
course, since we're on the topic of "people preferences" (not _sexual_
preferences). ;>
