huh? CompactFlash uses the IDE bus. With the right adapter you can connect
a CF card (2500 pesos for 32MB) directly to the IDE bus, Linux will "see"
it as a small IDE drive, and all you need is JFFS (Journaling Flash File
System) to put/read data on the CF card.
I'm thinking of something like this to do a diskless Linux workstation
that doesn't use nfsroot or something equally ugly. Just think, 32MB CF
card for OS and apps, 256MB of RAM.. that's a pretty kick-ass thin client.
Use an SiS 630 main board with onboard sound, video, and LAN.
