yes there are tools for this ( midnight commander is
one) try to search google i found a howto long ago
about this..
a reminder DON'T WRITE/SAVE ANYTHING on that hd that
you deleted something it may overwrite the inodes used
by the deleted file and rescuing/undeleting would be
impossible
