#_ Thanks to all who recommended links. For this former lynx fan, just one
#_ session was all it took to convert me. Concurrent downloads in the
#_ background, good ftp, plus tables and frames.
#_
#_ I also downloaded zgv, since I always did graphics in X. There may be
#_ better svgalib graphics viewers out there, but this one impressed me.
#_ With the combination of the two, I'll be switching to X a lot less
#_ frequently.
Bob, I think almost all distro's have zgv included. I use it to view jpg
attachments that my friends send me ;-> I'll just have to configure mutt to
run zgv whever I want to view a grapphics file, so that I don't have to save
the file first.
Ever since I started using Mdk 8 (links is included) I've been using links
too. What I like about it is it's ability to view local html files.
"links file://<path-to>/<filename>.html"
You can't do that with lynx, you'll get an error "Can't connect to ftp host"
