No. But just getting the mail headers mail from mail.ateneo.net
(horde/imp-imap) took so much time. I have to selectively open
mail, for otherwise, the slooowwww connection of Mozcom to the Net
will cost me so much money.

Sorry for the sudden change of topic, but my mail connection
is to blame. It takes so much time to write another mail.

I tried RH 7.1, and it installs linux-2.4.2 glibc-2.2.2 and
gcc-2.96. The latest releases are linux-2.4.9, glibc-2.2.4, and
gcc-3.0.1. So 7.1 is not bleeding edge. Also it has dropped
linuxconf as default, in favor of RH-written collection of tools
like bindconf, printconf, etc. This change, I think, is for the
better, since I couldn't really tell for sure if, after using
linuxconf, the config files are really written and the daemons
started/restarted. I have to manually check everything out to see
if linuxconf did the job right. It would have been easier if I had
done the thing from scratch by myself. But the new tools are
better!

RH-7.1 does not use /devfs, so expect thousands of device file
entries at /dev toplevel.

For Palm gadgeteers, there is pilot-xfer and some linux-side
palm desktops that you can synch width. These are not as good
as the Windows-side desktops, but they are getting better.
