Features?

Oracle features NOT in Postgres:

1) built-in web IDE and web functionality (WebDB) [9i]
2) built-in full text/multimedia indexing (ConText/InterMedia)
3) built-in directory service (Oracle Internet Directory -- LDAP server)
4) replication across NUMA and loosely-clustered machines
5) battle-tested as for reliability in Fortune 100 companies
6) built-in file server functionality (Internet File System) [9i]


I'm not an Oracle zealot, but Postgres, even though it's the Number One
OSS database, has a LONG way to go before it can even seriously threaten
Oracle. But for small to medium businesses, Postgres is good enough.
Heck, even Mozcom could make do with Postgres IMO.
