I encountered this same problem before and I added the same thing:

Option  "sw_cursor"

        inside the Device section. It worked probably because my graphics 
chipset is one of those supported by this option. The list of 
supported chipsets can be found in man pages of XF86_SVGA:

sw_cursor - for Cirrus, C&T, i740, and ATI Rage 128 (r128) chipsets.  This
option disables the hardware cursor. 

That's probably why the config below worked bec his grahics card is using 
a Cirrus chipset.
