hello all! please help. this is the scenario:
this is my '/etc/sudoers' file
# Host alias specification
Host_Alias MESSIAH=192.168.0.101
# User alias specification
User_Alias FULLTIMERS=percy
Runas_Alias OP=root,operator
# Cmnd alias specification
Cmnd_Alias SHUTDOWN=/sbin/shutdown
Cmnd_Alias HALT=/sbin/halt
# User privilege specification
root ALL=(ALL)ALL
FULLTIMERS ALL=NOPASSWD:ALL
percy MESSIAH=ALL
sudo asked for a password so i gave my login(?) password
percy@messiah percy] sudo -u FULLTIMERS -s |SHUTDOWN
Sorry, user percy is not allowed to execute '/bin/bash' as FULLTIMERS on messiah.
bash: SHUTDOWN: command not found
what seemed to be the problem? all i did was install the
sudo package and visudo-ed the /etc/sudoers file.
pls. help! maraming salamat! =]
